Frequently asked questions
Does SiteSelf work with Elementor, Divi or Beaver Builder?
Currently, SiteSelf cannot edit layouts or content controlled by these drag-and-drop builders. You can still connect your site to manage standard WordPress content and accessible SEO settings outside the builder. Your agent checks the area you want changed and explains any limitation.
What access does SiteSelf need to make edits?
Standard page and post edits require a WordPress connection. Advanced tasks such as theme-file edits or custom code also require the SiteSelf plugin with file changes enabled or a suitable hosting connection. If your developer uses a separate publishing process, connecting WordPress does not automatically connect it.
Do I need to have the wording ready?
Not at all. Send rough notes, bullet points or basic business details in chat. Your agent can draft the copy for you to review. Supply any specific pricing, service terms or factual details that must be included.
What if I cannot find the text in the WordPress editor?
Point your agent to the live page address. It will look for the source in the page, a widget, a shared block or the theme, and explain if the change needs additional access.
Can I update a detail across several pages at once?
Yes. Tell your agent what to update and agree which pages or shared sections are included. Name any older announcements that should stay unchanged. Your agent reports the locations it updated and anything it could not change.
Can I review changes before they are published?
