Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know WordPress or have the copy ready?
No. Send rough notes and the page you want to change. You supply the services, prices and other business facts; SiteSelf drafts the wording and finds where to make the edit. Use photos already in WordPress.
Will it work with my existing website?
SiteSelf works with WordPress. It can edit ordinary content, but not layouts or content controlled by Elementor, Divi or Beaver Builder. Code changes need file access through the SiteSelf plugin or hosting; some form settings also need hosting. If your developer manages code separately, their publishing process still applies.
Will SiteSelf take care of updates automatically?
Work starts with your request in Slack or Telegram. SiteSelf doesn't monitor the site or run scheduled maintenance; you decide what needs changing and when.
Can it update my Google listing and social profiles too?
No. It updates your WordPress website. Your Google Business Profile, directory listings and social accounts need to be updated separately.
Can it help when inquiry emails are missing?
It can investigate your WordPress form settings and available logs, then fix problems in the website's notification setup. Delivery can also depend on your email provider or domain settings. You still need to confirm that a test inquiry reaches the intended inbox.
Can I review changes before they go live?
New pages can be prepared as WordPress drafts. Changes to published content, forms or theme files can go live directly. Explain your review requirements first; your agent describes the planned work and recovery options before starting.
How will I know what changed?
