Frequently asked questions

Can I update a whole product range at once?

Yes. Name the products or categories and describe the change once. Supply the correct prices, stock quantities or product details, and your agent applies the updates across that selection. This updates WooCommerce records; it doesn't automatically sync stock with a warehouse or another sales channel.

Where do order and sales answers come from?

Order answers come from your WooCommerce records; sales summaries depend on the reporting data available for the dates you choose. Missing reporting data can limit the answer, and recorded sales are different from profit or bank payouts.

Can I set up a sale with a start and end date?

Yes, using WooCommerce's product sale dates. Coupons can also have an expiry date. Ending a discount doesn't remove its banner or promotional page, so send a separate request for that cleanup; the agent doesn't return automatically.

Does SiteSelf handle deliveries and payments?

It can configure WooCommerce's shipping zones, charges and free-shipping conditions. Dispatching orders, buying shipping labels, issuing refunds and changing payment-provider accounts stay with your team and existing services.

What access does it need to work on my store?

Your WordPress connection needs permission to manage the relevant WooCommerce records and settings. Custom code needs file access through the SiteSelf plugin or hosting; some extension settings and deeper fixes also need hosting. Repository-managed code must follow your developer's existing publishing process.

Will it work with my theme and WooCommerce extensions?

Your agent checks the installed theme and extensions before making changes, and you provide any paid licenses. It can work on WooCommerce records and settings, but it cannot currently edit layouts or content controlled by Elementor, Divi or Beaver Builder. It explains when a change needs help from the theme or extension provider.

How do I review the work?

Your agent reports what changed and what it checked using store data, code, logs or page output. Review affected product pages and buying steps yourself; automated browser tests and visual previews aren't currently available. Payment checks need test mode and test orders configured not to notify real customers.

Can changes affect shoppers or newer orders?

Yes. Some updates go live immediately, so tell your agent about trading restrictions before it starts. It explains the planned change and recovery options first. Restoring an older database can discard newer orders, so recovery must account for activity since the backup.
